  • Was George W. Bush a Conservative?

Conservatism is the philosophy of caution and restraint. If an action does not match those criteria then it is not conservative.  This goes for every aspect of life including sports and politics.  With that being established, let us examine former President George W Bush from the lens of conservative eye glasses.  Was Bush's foreign policy cautious and restrained?  No.  Was Bush's fiscal policy cautious and restrained?  No.  Was Bush's trade policy cautious and restrained?  No.  Was Bush's immigration policy cautious and restrained?  No.  Was Bush's interpretation of the Constitution of the United States cautious and restrained?  No.  Was Bush's environmental policy cautious and restrained?  No.  Was any major policy of Bush cautious and restrained?  Hell No.  Bush is NOT a conservative by definition.  Calling Bush a conservative in politics is like calling Rex Ryan conservative in defensive play calling...both are lies.  In a later post, I will go in detail dissecting this topic more policy by policy.

  • My football personality and skill

Cornerback- Ty Law (Very Physical, Moderate Speed, and In-Play Intelligence. A shut down corner while at the same time would leave Desean Jackson wide open by 10 yards in simplistic man to man zero coverage with little or no pass rush.  Famous for frustrating Peyton Manning constantly.  Peyton Manning eventually lobbied the NFL to make the "Ty Law Rule" which was a direct attack on the physical play of Ty Law)

Runningback- Antowain Smith (Medium sized back, effective between the tackles, understood defenses, one of the best at picking up blitzes, moderate speed, was not a "feature back" but was instrumental in getting the Patriots two Super Bowl championships against the Rams and Panthers)

Inside Linebacker- Paul Posluszny (From a white working class background, a "no name" backer that is passionate and plays the MLB the way it should be, great intelligence, is best suited to be in a 4-3)

"Force rooted in justice and backed by moral courage" - Patrick Buchanan

This is what I believe the "State" is there for.
